Born in Forth in the Franconia region in 1923, deportation to the Jungfernhof concentration camp near Riga in Dec. 1941, deportation to the Buna/Monowitz concentration camp in Dec. 1943, death march to Sachsenhausen in Jan. 1945, liberated by the U.S. Army near Schwerin in April 1945, emigration to the United States in 1947, now lives in New York.
